NASA's OCO mission, first dedicated mission to measure CO2 has failed.
NASA announced that failed to reach orbit after its launching from California's Vandenberg Air Force Base.
NASA scientist believe that the fairing on the Taurus XL launch vehicle failed to separate and caused fail of the mission.
Spacecraft could not reach Earth's orbit and it crashed into the ocean, near Antarctica.
